Our village is close to the busy market town of Newton Abbot with its shops and main line railway station, and 6 miles from Totnes and Torbay. The county town of Exeter is 18 miles. The village has a population of about 1500, large enough to support a good shop, primary school, church and other facilities yet small enough to have the ambience of a genuine Devon village.
